Aujourd'hui est le jour du lancement de notre label, HARPIES RECORDS.

Nous nous jetons dans l'abîme du monde musical et électronique, prêts à diriger notre petit vaisseau mère vers de grands ports d'attelage, avec sur notre route des escales de festoiement entre Space-Marines Xénons et autres créatures non humanoïdes de l'univers.
Pour fêter ce départ, nous sommes fiers de vous présenter la première release de notre label, l'EP ''Meditation with drone (ASN-206) around you'', résultat d'une coproduction entre les artiste Noir1440 et EURROPE.
Cet E.P. est très important pour nous, il marque le commencement d’une communauté reliée par les liens de la musique, mais aussi et avant tout d’amitié. Nous avons décidé de nous rassembler derrière un nom, une bannière, un idéal, une sorte d’utopie de notre musique, prête à évoluer, à se mélanger, s’hybrider…
Un nouveau grimoire est en train de se créer avec un nombre illimité d’aventures, de découvertes et de pages blanches prêtes à être écrites, dont le premier chapitre commencerait avec cet E.P.
''Méditation with drone (ASN-206) around you'' est un titre qui se veut paradoxal, faisant état d’une société contradictoire où fusionnent de plus en plus la machine et l’homme.
On y sent un éventail d’inspirations venant de mille horizons perpendiculaires et horizontaux, sortant tout droit de failles intemporelles où univers fantastiques, sorcelleries anciennes et transhumanisme y trouveraient leur place. Pour le bien et/ou le mal.
A la tête de ce projet de 6 titres cuisinés en étroite collaboration depuis pas loin d’un an, on trouve deux jeunes artistes affamés de nouvelles expérimentations en tous genres, cachés dans les tribunes d’une course de protojet sur une planète qui sent le coupe gorge a plein nez .
NOIR 1440 est un artiste performeur, compositeur, beatmaker, DJ -et moultes autres capacités- basé non loin de Genève en Suisse. Il est intimement lié au crew de rap éclectique « RIVE MAGENTA » Auteur d’une noise-trap sombre métallique et tranchante, originaire de Somalie et né en Suisse. NOIR 1440 ride dans plusieurs villes de son pays : tantôt dans des trap, tantôt perché à plusieurs mètres de hauteur à la recherche de nouveaux spots, collaborations ou artistes à découvrir.
EURROPE un artiste touche-à-tout, un bricoleur passionné qui utilise son environnement et sa curiosité pour concocter des projets (des plus) originaux. Ce démon avec une mosaïque impressionnante d’inspirations, s’amuse à enchevêtrer tous types d’arts et de supports pour réaliser ses incantations et enchantements mystiques. A la croisée des différents courants de notre monde, il est une synthèse inspirante d’une génération aux multiples influences.

Today is the day we're launching our label, HARPIES RECORDS
We're plunging into the abyss of electronic music, ready to lead our little Mothership to great settling ports, after a few stops of feasting between Space-marines Xenons and other non-humanoid creatures of the Universe.
To celebrate this launch, we're proud to introduce our label's first release, an EP called "meditation with drone (ASN-206) around you", as a result of a coproduction between the artists Noir1440 and EURROPE.
This E.P is important to us as it marks the inception of a community linked by musical bonds, but also and above all, by friendship. We have decided to rally behind a name, a bannery, an ideal, a kind of utopia for our music, ready to evolve, to meld, to hybridize…
A new grimoire is forming with an illimited number of adventures, discoveries and blank pages ready to be filled. First one would be this EP.
Meditation with drone (ASN-206) around you is a title to be understood as a paradoxe, outlining a contradictory society where man and machines increasingly merge.
In it we can sense a wide range of inspirations originating from a thousand perpendicular and horizontal horizons, themselves coming straight from timeless breaches where fantasy universes, ancient witchcrafts and transhumanism could find their place. For good and/or evil.
Leading this project of 6 titles simmered for almost a year of close collaboration are two young artists starving for new experimentations of all kinds, hidden in the galleries of a protojet race on a planet filled with tricky dead ends.
Noir is a performing artist, composer, beatmaker, DJ with abilities of all sorts, based not far from Geneve. He is intimically linked to RIVE MAGENTA, an eclectical rap crew filled with talent. An author of a deep metallical and sharp noise trap, born in Switzerland with a Somalian heritage, Noir 1440 rides in several cities of his country – sometimes in traps, sometimes perched several metres above the ground looking for new spots, collaborations, and artists yet to come.
EURROPE is an artist of all trades, a do-it-yourselfer influenced by his surroundings and his curiosity to build original projects. This demon with an impressive patchwork of inspirations likes to play around with different types of arts and mediums tout give birth to his incantations and mystical enchantments. In the crossfire of our worlds different trends, he is the inspiring synthesis of a generation made of multiple influences.
